This broom closet was built to fill a space in a laundry room, add function for storage for brooms, as well as a shelf for a paper shredder among other things. It stands 86″ tall and has two soft-close doors. The paint is the same Santorini Blue used throughout the house.
This bed was custom-built out of solid maple and stained medium brown walnut. It includes book storage and a large desk to go along with the bunk bed. It also includes a ladder at the foot of the bed as an integrated piece. This bed fits a full-size mattress, but it can be built to any size. The underside of the mattress is not stained so the desk area is not as dark for lighting purposes. It is all finished with a clear lacquer finish to provide durability as well as just the right amount of gloss.
These bookshelves were built to fill the space on either side of the fireplace. The shelves are faced to add strength and a consistent look.
We built these built-in bookcases and mantle for a cottage at Callaway Gardens. It was painted to match the trim throughout the cottage. There is much more to come at this cottage and possibly others so stay tuned.
